Jim started Better Homes Electric, Inc dba Energy Smart Wiring in 1980 where he wired commercial and residential projects. Doing all the work himself crawling attics and spooling wire out by hand. Jim's old school approach was where a hand shake was all that was needed to get the job started and get the job done right .
Dustin started with Better Homes Electric, Inc in 2002 running structured cable systems and audio before starting Hi-Tech Homes. In 2008 Dustin left the low volt field and focused on high voltage. Dustin became a Journeyman Electrician in 2011.

Glenda: Accounting and Schedule Coordinator
Paula Gratiot, co-founder of Better Homes Electric, Inc dba Energy Smart Wiring handles the day to day office operations, bids, and office management.

Glenda handles our accounting, permits, inspections, and schedules. She coordinates builders & homeowners with the crew schedules. She is an office favorite as she is our Betty Crocker understudy, and gets the payroll out to us all!

Amy has a long back ground in customer service with St. Lukes Idaho before coming on board with Energy Smart Wiring. Her attention for detail, organization of the shop and office has served the ESW team well. She handles deliveries and orders as well as bids projects.
