James Gratiot
Dustin Gratiot
Jim started Better Homes Electric, Inc dba Energy Smart Wiring in 1980 where he wired commercial and residential projects. Doing all the work himself, crawling attics and spooling wire out by hand. Jim's old school approach was where a hand shake was all that was needed to get the job started and get the job done right.
Jim enjoyed 25 years of snowmobiling, 15 years of Harley rides, now time Glamping with Paula, going to the gym, Coffee in the early morning, golfing, time with his 4 Grand Kids, and BBQ with family.
Dustin started with Better Homes Electric, Inc in 2002 running structured cable systems and audio before starting Hi-Tech Homes. In 2008 Dustin left the low volt field and focused on high voltage. Dustin became a Journeyman Electrician in 2011.

Dustin enjoys the outdoors, including camping with his wife and 3 kids and their dog, River, fishing, hunting, Spartan racing and Jiu-Jitsu.

Paula Gratiot
Paula Gratiot, co-founder of Better Homes Electric, Inc dba Energy Smart Wiring handles the day to day office operations, bids, and office management.
Paula enjoys paint night with the girls, walking around the mall (no shopping though), 25 years snowmobiling, 15 years Harley rides, now RV camping (Glamping) with Jim, and time with her 4 Grand Kids.
Vice President
Glenda Nelson is a multi tasker for Energy Smart Wiring. From the day to day calls she also handles the schedule, permits, inspections and some times takes a road trip to deliver to the guys in the field.
Glenda enjoys sunny day patio time with her family, walks with her husband (no matter the time of day), Meridian Speedway, and going to music concerts.
